The tutor will create lesson plans and conduct 1-on-1 or small group mentoring sessions to help students master high school chemistry. They are also responsible for maintaining professional communication with families and attending mandatory monthly meetings.

Job Summary High School Tutor/Mentor You will be expected to create the content for each session and collaborate with students and their families to meet mentorship needs. Essential Job Functions Be reasonably available for Mentoring Sessions; both in-person and online Be prepared for each Mentoring Session; with lesson plans and/or session materials Use best efforts to provide the tutoring and/or educational services in a workmanlike and quality manner Use best efforts to secure a suitable replacement if Contractor is unable to attend a scheduled Mentoring Session Inform AIM Private Clinic of the occurrence, location, date, and duration of each Mentoring Session between Contractor and Client Refer immediately to AIM Private Clinic any inquiry from Client or any Client referral regarding tutoring and/or educational services Inform AIM Private Clinic immediately of any Client complaint, Client dispute or disagreement Attend monthly AIM Private Clinic meeting as designated by AIM Private Clinic Administrator(s) Maintain Confidentiality of AIM Private Clinic and its clients Submit documentation as needed Perform additional duties and accept other responsibilities as may be assigned
Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or pursuing one (preferred) Two years of content-specific tutoring or teaching experience Demonstrates content knowledge for the particular subject Exhibits both personable and professional communication skills with both kids and adults Has a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to sessions in the San Antonio area We do offer training and shadowing sessions with an expert-level Mentor to ensure you feel confident going into a session.
