The ministry began with the church located in Costa Mesa, CA and has flourished and expanded into a multifaceted ministry whose influence has reached to the ends of the earth. We have now re-focused as a local Church-centered organization with a goal of forming, resourcing and educating followers of Jesus. Calvary Chapel High School, a Christ-centered private high school competing in the CIF Southern Section, seeks a passionate and knowledgeable coach to lead our softball program. The ideal candidate is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field, integrating faith and character formation with competitive excellence. Key Responsibilities Agree with and live out the vision and values of CCCM as outlined in the Statement of Faith (www.cccm.com). Be an example to those who you come in contact and serve with by exuding the love of Christ. Understand that it is a privilege to serve the Lord in vocational ministry and that those who serve God on staff at CCCM are expected to embrace a high biblical, Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle, both public and personal. Model a growing relationship with Christ; lead prayer and team devotions. Build a healthy, competitive team culture focused on character, teamwork, and perseverance. Plan and lead practices, manage game strategy, and mentor athletes. Manage team budget. Communicate clearly with players, parents, and staff. Organize all aspects of the season, including tournaments, facilities, and logistics. Uphold CIF-SS rules, school policies, and student-athlete safety. Qualifications Demonstrated success coaching volleyball at the high school, club, or collegiate level. Strong communication and leadership skills. Commitment to discipleship and mentoring student-athletes. Qualifications
