The instructor will lead and motivate groups through exercise science-based yoga sessions tailored to various fitness levels. They are responsible for creating a positive exercise experience while helping participants achieve their fitness goals.

Pay Range

Targeted pay range of $12.00 - $30.00/hr, based on experience.

Position Introduction

Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position will create a positive exercise experience.

This position is a professional who teaches, leads, and motivates groups through intentionally designed exercise classes.

They plan effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels.

They also possess a wealth of motivational and leadership techniques that help their classes achieve fitness goals.

Instructors know the human body, the science of exercise, and how to inspire, challenge, and motivate change in the lives of the people they lead.

Training will begin immediately upon hire.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Department Preferences

• Yoga instructors currently certified through a Yoga Alliance RYS200 school (200 hour Yoga certification)

  • Must have the ability to obtain a certification accredited through a Yoga Alliance RYS200 school (200 hour Yoga certification) within 6 months

Requirements
