Position Summary: The substitute is an on-call support staff position hired on a part-time basis as needed to support
III. Learning Outcomes
1.
Carry out the plans and directives of the Administrator and/or Montessori Teacher and abide by all licensing and accreditation standards.
2.
Assist with the set-up and the maintenance of the Montessori prepared environment.
This includes but is not limited to making materials and activities, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, moving furniture, and other chores necessary so that the environment is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for the children.
3.
Prepare snacks, refill supplies as needed, and do other tasks as required to support the teaching staff and Administrator.
4.
Participate in staff meetings as applicable and in-service training as needed.

V. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Attend school functions as requested 2. Support teaching staff by redirecting children as needed to allow teachers to continue working with the children and/or observe as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent 2. Proof of a criminal record clearance. 3. A physical examination clearance for work with children aged two to six. 4. A current TB screening 5. Member of the Early Childhood Systems Patch Registry with the qualification of Aide for group child care centers and homes.
Student should maintain a current GPA of at least (2.5/3.0)
