Jovie of CA, WA, and MN·Woodinville, Washington
The nanny will provide attentive and engaging care for a 3-year-old child, including dressing, meal preparation, and facilitating age-appropriate play. Responsibilities also include taking the child to local parks and performing light household tasks when necessary.
A bit about us: We are a Woodinville family looking for a warm, engaging nanny to care for our social and playful 3-year-old girl. She loves hide-and-seek, reading books, playing with toys, spending time outside, and riding around on her favorite toy car. She is currently accustomed to having an au pair, whose two-year placement with our family is coming to an end, so we’re hoping to find another caregiver she can build a wonderful connection with. One parent works from home and will be available as a resource if needed, but stays in a separate room during the nanny’s shift so the nanny can comfortably take the lead.
You’re an energetic and engaging caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with an active, social preschooler. Building a strong connection with our kiddo is especially important, as she can take some time to warm up to a new caregiver but does wonderfully once she finds someone she connects with. You enjoy getting down on her level to play, reading together, heading outside, and keeping mornings interesting with age-appropriate activities. Ideally, you have reliable transportation and are comfortable taking her to a nearby park, although we’re open to a great-fit nanny who does not have a vehicle.
As soon as the right fit nanny can start!
A nanny who has their own vehicle and enjoys taking a preschooler on morning outings to local parks would be a wonderful fit. The family also has a connection to the Cottage Lake community through their church, so familiarity with the Cottage Lake/Woodinville area could be a nice bonus. Most importantly, they’re looking for someone who can naturally connect with their daughter and make their mornings together fun, active, and engaging.
