Classroom facilitators support students in distance learning foreign language classes by attending class hours. They also provide additional help to students outside of class by scheduling practice sessions as instructed by the professor.

Position Title

Classroom Language Facilitator Job Category: Student Hourly Job Profile: Student Help Job Summary: Classroom Language Facilitator Job Summary: Support students learning a foreign language by becoming a Classroom Facilitator in a foreign language class. Classroom Facilitators will be a virtual assistant to a distance learning class taught from another UW-Campus. Languages at UWSP: Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish

Duties

Student facilitators are responsible for attending the target class hours and being available to help students outside of class by scheduling practice language sessions as instructed by the professor.

Qualifications

Proficient in both English and the foreign language being taught. Availability during scheduled class times. Hours

  • 1-5 hours per week
