About the Position

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a dedicated team members= to support our Havertown Center as an Assistant Teacher Float. This role provides support throughout our center working with older toddlers, preschool and kindergarten aged children while helping to ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center. Step into different classrooms as needed to help with coverage and maintain ratio. Support daily routines and classroom activities Provide active supervision at all times to keep children safe Build and maintain relationships with children, families, co-workers and administrators. Follow and adhere to the responsibilities outlined by the lead teacher for the classroom. Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred Strong teamwork and flexibility Ability to keep information private Basic knowledge of childcare rules Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.
