Job Summary The job of Paraprofessional is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom(s) with specific responsibility for working with individual and/or small groups of students; supervising students to maintain an effective learning environment; and assisting teacher/s.

Salary $22.88-$29.18 per hour Length of Work Year 180 days per year Employment Type Part Time Hours: 3.75 hours per day, 5 days per week. Probationary Period: 6 months Requirements / Qualifications If you are NOT currently or never have been a Paraprofessional for VUSD, you must include proof of one of the following: Completion of 48 units of college or university or above OR Passing score on the District Paraprofessional Exam Paraprofessional Testing (Or Proof of passing score on exam) 48 Units of College or University or above Must be able to pass Strength and Agility test prior to employment Strength and Agility Testing Tuberculosis Clearance Criminal Background Check Comments and Other Information Application Deadline: 08/14/2026
