As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), one of the most effective evidence-based therapies available.
No ABA experience? No problem. We’ll give you the tools to succeed. Our paid training and ongoing BCBA support will help you feel prepared and confident in your role.
What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn meaningful skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives.
Through personalized, engaging sessions, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to strengthen communication, social, play, coping, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, they also help children develop safer and more effective ways to navigate challenging behaviors.
ABA is all about celebrating progress—whether it’s learning to communicate a need, completing a daily routine, interacting with others, or reaching a new milestone. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred) Experience working with children is a plus, but not required Available a minimum of 15 hours per week Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration Willing to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
