The Afterschool Counselor II is responsible for leading assigned groups in planned activities that support student success and program goals. They must also maintain accurate attendance records, coordinate supplies, and provide support for student development and virtual learning.

Must possess Para Pro Certification or AA/BA degree validated with GAPDS Must be at least 18 years of age 3+ years of experience working with school-age children in a group setting Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification within the first 30 days of employment Excellent verbal/written communication skills Have experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as internet technology platforms such as Google Classroom and Zoom. Must pass a Bright from the Start (BFTS) background check PERFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Prior experience working with school-aged children in a licensed facility Ergonomic Requirements: Bending, stooping, standing, sitting, lifting to thirty pounds, seeing, hearing, keyboard input.
