About the role

The Special Education Teacher will collaborate with school staff and families to conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students. They are responsible for developing and implementing IEP goals and maintaining all required district documentation.

Overview Special Education Teacher – Surprise, AZ 2026–2027 School Year | Full-Time | $40–$46/hour HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students in a school-based setting in Surprise, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for an educator who is passionate about helping students reach their academic, behavioral, and functional goals while working as part of a collaborative school team.

Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ educational deficits Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s

Qualifications

Must hold a current license to practice in the state of ?state Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families.
