About the role

The teacher will provide specialized instruction to middle school students in an Intensive Learning Center and develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and paraeducators to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support.

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Multi Intensive Teacher to serve inFront Range Area, Colorado. This full-time position supports a specialized classroom of approximately 10 students and provides individualized instruction and support based on students' academic, behavioral, functional, and social-emotional needs. The teacher will work within a highly collaborative environment supported by paraeducators, peer mentors, and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to middle school students in an Intensive Learning Center (ILC) setting. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies based on individual student needs. Provide academic, behavioral, functional, and social-emotional support. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Coordinate and collaborate with paraeducators to provide consistent classroom support. Work closely with the BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, psychologist, social worker, general education teachers, and other school personnel. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Remain flexible and responsive to changing student and classroom needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field. Minimum of one year of classroom experience required. Must currently hold or be in the process of obtaining a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license. Experience supporting students with intensive or significant support needs is preferred. Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills. Must be a flexible and dependable team player.
