About the role

The Assistant Toddler Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, facilitating learning activities, and supporting the social, emotional, and physical development of children.

  • You'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, build confidence, and develop important skills.

No previous childcare experience is required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed!

What You'll Do As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you'll help create a classroom where toddlers feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. You'll: Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers Build positive and trusting relationships with children Encourage learning through play, music, storytelling, art, movement, and hands-on activities Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development Help children build confidence, independence, and positive relationships with peers Assist with meals, naps, toileting, transitions, and other daily routines Observe children's development and share important updates with families Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and classroom team Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment Follow all health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements

What We're Looking For You don't need previous childcare experience. We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about working with toddlers Patient, dependable, caring, and positive Comfortable working as part of a team A strong communicator Able to guide children with kindness and consistency Interested in early childhood development Willing to learn and complete all required Montana licensing training CPR Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided!
