The Teacher's Aide assists in providing a developmentally appropriate early childhood education program and guides children in social and self-help skill development. They are also responsible for ensuring child safety, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the teacher with assessments and parent conferences.
Crosspoint Human Services is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher’s Aide to support classroom instruction and help create a positive learning environment for children ages 18 months to 5 years old.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, collaborating with educators, and making a meaningful impact each day.
Responsibilities and Duties: Duties include but are not limited to: Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate early childhood education program Guide children in the development of social and self-help skills Provide support to the teacher as they conduct assessments of each child’s progress in the classroom and schedule and assist with parent-teacher conferences Ensure the safety of each child in the classroom, on the playground and in common areas Maintain accurate records for meals/snacks on all children Schedule: Monday through Friday Job Requirements: Requires a high school diploma One year work experience in human services, child development, or related field is preferred.
Requires a valid drivers license and proof of automobile insurance.
