What You'll Do As a Classroom Specialist, you'll be an important part of our teaching team. You'll help classrooms run smoothly while creating positive experiences for children throughout the center. Your day may include: Supporting different classrooms and age groups as needed Helping with teacher breaks, classroom transitions, and schedule coverage Supporting daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, and toileting Engaging children through stories, music, games, crafts, movement, and hands-on activities Encouraging positive social interactions and helping children work through conflicts Supporting classroom curriculum and learning activities Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions Maintaining clean, organized, and safe classroom environments Working closely with teachers and center leadership to meet classroom needs Communicating professionally with coworkers and families
What We're Looking For You don't need previous childcare experience. We're looking for someone who is: At least 16 years old Caring, patient, dependable, and flexible Comfortable working with different age groups Positive and able to adapt to changing classroom needs A strong communicator and team player Organized and attentive to children's needs Interested in early childhood education Willing to complete required Montana licensing and training requirements CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Previous childcare experience is helpful, but not required. Paid training is provided!
