Night Coach Counselors provide safety and overnight supervision for youth while supporting their physical, personal, and health needs. They monitor and document student behaviors and activities, provide individual counseling, and assist with behavioral, social, physical, and educational skill development. They maintain a safe and supportive environment and collaborate with professional staff to support each student’s treatment plan. This is an entry-level position primarily responsible for the nightly supervision, safety, and security of students and typically reports to a Group Leader.
Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by Farm student housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Café, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more).
$23.74 per hour
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass bilingual (English/Spanish) assessment.
Minimum 1 year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents.
Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of experience in the child welfare field. Additionally, applicants must be bilingual in English and Spanish, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a criminal background check.
