The instructor is responsible for facilitating learning for dual credit students by developing curriculum, delivering instruction, and assessing student performance. They must also maintain relevant course materials and communicate effectively with the college, high school, and community stakeholders.
This is an adjunct instructional position. Course assignments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon departmental needs, student enrollment, and scheduling availability. As such, hours are not guaranteed, and teaching opportunities may not be available immediately upon hire.
Provide instruction for Medical Terminology course to dual credit students at local Sheboygan County high school. Scheduled hours daily to meet high school schedule. Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction. (100%) Instruction Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in various delivery formats, schedules, and in various places in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of: facilitating learning of diverse students, assessing student performance, as well as instruction and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant course materials, and communicating with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members. Developing curriculum, including learning activities and assessments. Work with the curriculum coach to ensure state and Lakeshore College design requirements are met.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related health field and possess at least two years of related occupational experience. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to meet Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements.
