Ohr Torah Cincinnati is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Girls PE Teacher to lead our physical education program for Kindergarten, Lower Elementary (grades 1–3), Upper Elementary (grades 4–6), and Middle School (grades 7–8). This is a part-time position, either 4 -6 hours on one day or split across two days, depending on scheduling needs. At OTC, great autonomy is given to teachers to be creative, innovative, and passionate. The ideal candidate can execute a student-centered, engaging program that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a love of movement across a wide range of ages. Craft and implement high-quality, engaging PE lessons and activities that meet the diverse developmental needs of learners from Kindergarten through Middle School.
Promote physical fitness, coordination, and healthy habits through age-appropriate games and exercises.
Collaborate with faculty to support students' overall growth and wellbeing.
Care of Students & Classroom Culture
Build a PE class culture that empowers students, affirms their identities, and creates a sense of belonging for all students.
Implement school-wide and classroom management policies and practices.
Establish and maintain working relationships with students based on trust and respect.
Team Support
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as needed.
Embrace and incorporate feedback in the spirit of constant improvement.
Meet professional obligations including timeliness and consistency.
Compensation: $26–$32/hour, based on experience
Candidates must have experience working with children, with a background in physical education, coaching, or athletics being a plus. Strong collaborative skills and a positive, professional attitude are required for this role.
