The CNA Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering curriculum, assessing student progress, and overseeing clinical and skills lab training. They must maintain accurate student records and ensure all instruction complies with Ohio Department of Health standards.
Description The CNA Instructor provides instruction for days CNA classes.
Duties include planning lessons, monitoring skills and assessing student progress on an ongoing basis, collecting, recording and reporting all necessary information related to students in a timely manner.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide instruction starting April 2026.
Attends 5 day blended orientation.
2 days virtual and 3 days in Co, Ohio with Healthcare Coordinator, travel accommodations provided.
Flexibility with class times are available days.

Teaches the CNA curriculum according to Ohio Dept of Health.
May need to update curriculum to best practices, lesson plans, teaching materials to aid students in developing skills and confidence in healthcare areas.
Integrates computer-aided instruction into lessons as appropriate.
Teaches hands on skills in the healthcare courses.
Attends Clinical sites with students and oversees for safety.
Attends skills lab testing for safety of students and volunteers.
Collects, records, and reports all necessary information related to students.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Experience working with adult and High School learners preferred. CPR Certification and Bloodborne Pathogen certification Active Train the Trainer Certification to teach CNA- (required) or needed within 3 months of employment. Paid for by Employer if needed.
