In this role, you will provide individual, family, group, and other therapeutic services to students while working under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing evidence-based interventions, coordinating care with families and community partners, documenting services, and supporting clients through their treatment journey. This position offers… · Employee Assistance Program – 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no cost · Mileage Reimbursement – Company paid for work functions requiring travel · Employee Discounts – Hotels, Theme Parks & Attractions, College Tuition · Licensure Supervision - complimentary for LMSW's, PLPC's, PLMFT's · Additional income opportunities - for LPC's, LCSW's, & LMFT’s (provide supervision) · Continuing Education - 3 days leave following your first year of employment · Liability Coverage - Company paid · Workplace Culture - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting a healthy, joyful workforce · Additional Perks & Benefits - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn more Key Responsibilities: · Provide individual, family, group, and school-based therapeutic services that support student mental health, wellness, and treatment goals. · Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment recommendations. · Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect client strengths, goals, progress, and clinical needs. · Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support emotional regulation, behavioral change, recovery, and overall wellbeing. · Facilitate individual counseling, family therapy, group counseling, psychoeducation, trauma-informed services, and co-occurring treatment interventions. · Collaborate with school personnel, families, referral sources, and treatment team members to ensure coordinated and effective care. · Participate in clinical staffing meetings and provide professional feedback regarding client treatment and progress. · Respond to and assist with crisis situations, including coordinating emergency interventions when necessary. · Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. · Monitor treatment progress and assist clients through transitions of care, including completion of discharge and transition planning documentation. · Provide clinical consultation and guidance to treatment team members as appropriate. · Represent the organization professionally within the community and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, schools, coworkers, and referral partners. · Complete required training, maintain credentialing requirements, and support organizational goals and quality care initiatives. · Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: · Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required. · Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) required. · Must hold provisional licensure with the applicable state professional licensing board. · Must be eligible and willing to obtain full professional licensure through completion of required supervision hours and licensing examination requirements. · Must be willing to become licensed in additional states as needed. · Must be comfortable providing telehealth services; training will be provided. · Knowledge of diagnostic criteria and treatment approaches related to mental health and substance use disorders. · Knowledge of counseling methods, rehabilitation principles, treatment planning, and behavioral health service delivery. · Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services while maintaining strong clinical judgment and professionalism. · Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear clinical documentation and reports. · Ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships in person, by telephone, and through telehealth platforms. Additional Qualifications: · Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required. · Successful completion of background screenings including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks. · Must provide copies of applicable certifications and licenses. · Must complete Behavioral Management training within thirty (30) days of employment or first available class after hire. · Must demonstrate understanding of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs) within thirty (30) days of employment. · Must achieve thirty-six (36) hours of training requirements within a two-year period in accordance with applicable regulations. · For school-based programs, must be able to provide services on-site during school operating hours. · Ability to handle crisis situations professionally and effectively. · Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. · Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while accepting supervision and direction. · Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Physical Requirements · Perform sedentary work requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and frequent exertion of negligible force. · Sit for extended periods while completing assessments, documentation, treatment planning, and telehealth services. · Occasionally stand and walk throughout the workday while providing services within school and community settings. · Perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements associated with typing, writing, and computer use. · Maintain the ability to complete routine clinical, administrative, and documentation tasks throughout the work shift.
