This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NH The opportunity Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for a Club Dance Coach.
You will instruct the club according to the skill level of the club members to develop skills ranging from beginner to advanced.
As a coach, you will report to our Assistant Director of Campus Recreation.
This is an on-site position based on our campus in Manchester NH.
This role is Part-Time.
In this Role You'll Get To: Coach/Instruct the club according to the SNHU rules and all applicable associations as set forth by the Sports Club Handbook Understand all emergency and safety procedures of equipment, rental and travel management observing the Sports Club Handbook Conduct all practices and games Mentor all members with increased focus towards helping the executive board accomplish goals Support and give guidance in recruiting new members to participate and join the club Attend all practices and competitions Arrive on time and organize practice sessions Coaches must attend all mandatory training sessions as instructed by the University and Campus Recreation Department.
Coaches must collaborate effectively and promptly with players and Club Sport Administrative staff.
Coaches should instruct all participants on proper technique and ways to improve in the given sport Coaches will be chaperones for all travel games and must act observing all travel guidelines as set forth by the Office of Student Involvement Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification What we're Looking For: High School diploma and 1 year of coaching experience Experience working and managing a dance team #LI-Onsite We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.

Compensation The hourly pay range for this position is $13.12 - $20.99.
Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $14.50 - $19.61.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and at least one year of coaching experience. Additionally, they are required to maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
