About the role

The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment using the High Scope curriculum. They will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning while mentoring staff and building partnerships with families.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator with extensive experience leading toddler classrooms. As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have responsibility to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment utilizing the High Scope curriculum. With the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher, you will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through hands-on play-based learning experiences, while building strong partnerships with families and mentoring staff.

Position Details

Status: Regular, full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:15am-5:15pm) Pay rate- $15-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education) Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, required Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or a child-related field is preferred A minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom is required CPR certification is required for all teaching staff, may be obtained within 30 days of hire Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US Paid professional development Childcare discount (Tri-Share center/employer) Medical, dental, vision and short-term disability insurance Free Telehealth and EAP (day 1) Aflac Supplemental Insurance Paid time off 401K with company match Paid Planning Time Referral bonuses Annual performance reviews and increases Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks Birthday benefits Why join our team Working at Heartfelt Impressions you will be seen, heard and valued as the educator you are. Requirements

Candidates must hold a CDA credential and have at least one year of experience in a toddler classroom. A bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred, and CPR certification is required.
