The nurse intern will support school health services by promoting student wellness and engaging in health promotion activities. They will also integrate community-oriented nursing practices while demonstrating standards of nursing care in a clinical setting.

Student Nurse Practicums are coordinated with the University and the School District. Student Nurse Practicum placements are for those University and College students who are working toward a nursing degree. Student nurses are paired with school nurses based on nurse availability.
