Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support early learning and development.
Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.
At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred) working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center.
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
