About the role

The Resilience Coach will lead enrichment, recreation, and academic support activities while building positive relationships with students. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, organized environment and ensuring student well-being during before and after-school hours.

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

  • Monday-Friday: 6:30-8:30AM and 3PM-6PM

We are looking for candidates who are available to work the full duration of both schedules all five days.

Pay: $19-21/hour, based on experience and region

Position Overview Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive.This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.

Key Responsibilities Student Engagement & Support Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.

Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.

Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.

Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

Program Delivery Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.

Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.

Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.

Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.

Program Operations Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.

Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.

Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.

Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. 18 years old or older Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred. Prior leadership experience in a childcare setting is a strong plus! Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
