Louis.Job Summary The Classroom Aide supports the classroom teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered learning environment for students.

The aide assists with classroom activities, student supervision, instructional support, and daily routines while helping promote the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students.

The Classroom Aide serves as a positive Catholic role model and supports the mission and values of the school through respectful, compassionate, and professional interactions with students, families, faculty, and staff.Job Responsibilities

Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional and classroom activities.

Provide individual or small-group support to students as directed by the teacher.

Help prepare classroom materials, learning activities, bulletin boards, and instructional resources.

Supervise and assist students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned activities.

Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment.

Assist students with age-appropriate academic, social, and organizational needs.

Reinforce classroom expectations and school policies under the direction of the classroom teacher.

Provide support for students with varying learning needs as directed by the teacher.

Assist with arrival, dismissal, and other school routines as assigned.

Support classroom prayer, religious activities, and the integration of Catholic values into the school day.

Maintain student confidentiality and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries.

Communicate student concerns or observations to the classroom teacher or appropriate administrator.

Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, parents, and school administration.

Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or principal.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in education or child development preferred.

Previous experience working with children is preferred.

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a classroom team.

Strong communication, patience, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow directions and respond appropriately to student needs.

Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.

Practicing Catholic preferred, depending on school and diocesan requirements.

Must successfully complete required background checks, safeguarding training, and other diocesan/school requirements.
