Our teachers implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and instruction aligned to PA State Standards, work collaboratively with teachers in other disciplines as well as residential staff and participate fully in the school’s academic and residential community. • Development: Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment Educate students in music that includes diverse genres and styles from various periods and cultures Provide instruction on proper vocal technique and organize a chorus. Provide instruction to students using multiple musical instruments. Organize and drive school performances for Middle School students. Must possess a minimum of a State of Pennsylvania Level I Instructional Certificate or above in the content area in which they are teaching from the PA Department of Education or must obtain Instructional Intern Certificate in the content area in which they teach within one year from date of hire.
