The assistant coach will coordinate and conduct tennis practices and individual lessons while supporting the academic, athletic, and spiritual development of student-athletes. Additionally, the role involves recruiting new athletes to the program in collaboration with the admissions department and the director of athletics.

Position Summary

Concordia University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant in the Athletics department Tennis program for the Fall 2026 Semester. This part-time position will be located on the CUW Mequon, WI Campus. Job

Duties & Responsibilities

May initiate, schedule, coordinate and conduct scheduled practices and individual lessons Demonstrate Christian concern for athlete's academic, athletic, social, and spiritual development Support and integrate the mission and values of Concordia University within the program Recruit athletes to tennis program in coordination with Admission Department and Director of Athletics Perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills Able to present a Christian and professional manner Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule Knowledge in the trends of the respective sport Available evenings and weekends Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field required 3-5 years coaching experience Physical Demands/Equipment (Click to View) Application Instructions To receive full consideration, all applicants are asked to complete and submit an online employment application through the Concordia University Employment page. Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field and possess 3-5 years of coaching experience. Applicants should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and be supportive of the university's mission and values.
