Therese Early Education Center (EEC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team from August - May.
Early Childhood teacher working with children 18 months - 36 months.
An ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in early childhood education as well as a genuine love for working with young children.
As an Early Childhood Teacher you are responsible for planning during centers, art projects, small groups and supporting the students social emotional development.

? Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. ? Implement lessons that are developmentally appropriate, hands on and engaging ? Instill a love for Christ, and weave Catholic teachings into daily activities. ? Use a variety of methods to assess and monitor students' progress. ? Provide an environment that supports new speech and language skills, finger plays, story time and daily songs. ? Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. ? Instill a love for Christ, and weave Catholic teachings into daily activities. ? Knowledge and ability to change diapers and help with potty training.
? Early Childhood degree, CDA in child development, Parents as Teachers certification or Bachelor’s in Early Education. ? Experience working with young children in a preschool setting ? Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices. ? Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. ? Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset. ? This position requires standing on multiple floor surfaces, sitting on the floor, and lifting. ? Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted on a daily basis
