About the Role

  • Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers to support students in Resource and SSN (Significant Support Needs) settings in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you'll provide specialized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.   • + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You'll Do Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs Deliver research-based interventions and accommodations Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and student progress Foster a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist license or application in process Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Minimum 1 year of classroom experience Flexible team player Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting students with diverse needs Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
