The peer coach assists undergraduate students in understanding course material and developing effective study habits to improve academic performance. They also facilitate review sessions, workshops, and maintain accurate records of tutoring interactions.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Help undergraduate students to become better independent learners by assisting them in the understanding of course material, academic skills building and answering questions. Support undergraduate students in examine their academic strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies that lead to academic success.
Have passion for helping fellow students lean and succeed
Demonstrate good study skills and work habits.
Exhibit a service-oriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed in their courses.
Demonstrate strong active listening, empathy and approachability to build trust with diverse peers
