The instructor is responsible for teaching figure skating classes to all ages and skill levels within the ISI Learn to Skate program. They also evaluate skater progress, communicate with parents, and assist with rink events and competitions.
Applicant must have skated or competed in the ISI Freestyle 5 level or above or the USFS equivalent. A minimum of one year of Learn to Skate teaching experience required; experience teaching USFS Skating Skills and/or Ice Dance also preferred. Will be required to purchase the ISI Professional Membership and do ISI Judging Certifications. Applicant would have to be available Saturdays and possibly weekday evenings.
This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Able to work specifically on Sundays.
