The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. They must also manage waste disposal, replenish supplies, and report any maintenance or safety issues to their supervisor.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the school after regular school hours.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Clean and disinfect classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
Clean glass, doors, furniture, and other assigned areas.
Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Maintain assigned areas according to company and school standards.
Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
