The Adjunct Instructor will provide instruction to undergraduate students in exercise science and health science courses. They are expected to utilize innovative teaching methods and participate in various instructional formats including in-person, hybrid, and online.
Heidelberg University is accepting resumes for an adjunct pool in the health sciences, specifically in the fields of Health Science and Athletic Training. An Adjunct Instructor in the School of Allied Health provides instruction to undergraduate students in the following course subjects: exercise science and/ or health science. Adjunct instructors will teach part-time on an as-needed basis and should be willing to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online, and at varied class times that may include evenings according to program needs.
Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis.
Teach courses in exercise science and/or health science as needed in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters based on candidate expertise and qualifications. Courses could be assigned as in-person or online instruction.
Utilize innovative and collaborative teaching methods in support of the School’s mission and learning objectives.
Perform other essential duties as assigned/as outlined in the Faculty Manual

Desired Attributes and Qualifications
Knowledge of operation and use of various office equipment, including, but not limited to: personal computer, including spreadsheet and word processing software, integrated database software, fax machines, copier, telephone, scanner, and printers. A valid driver’s license may be required.
