Position Description

AppliedKids is seeking a caring and energetic Infant-Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports the growth and learning of children ages 3mo. – 36 mo.

Key Responsibilities Supervise infants and toddlers while ensuring compliance with childcare licensing and safety standards.

Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Collaborate with team members to design, evaluate, and enhance curriculum, routines, and learning environments.

Build positive relationships with families through regular communication, conferences, and developmental updates.

Create a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom that celebrates cultural diversity and fosters trust.

Participate in professional development, training, and staff meetings to uphold best practices in early childhood education.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes

Minimum of 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education plus 3 units in Infant/Toddler studies. Knowledge of California Infant/Toddler Learning & Development Foundations, Curriculum Framework, and Title 22 regulations preferred. Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting. Eligible for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Child Development Program Associate Teacher Permit, or higher.

The following skills and attributes are preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Current Child First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
