At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred). Experience working with children ages 3-5 years of age in a licensed childcare center.
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and preschool milestones.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
