Job Description and Responsibilities This is a full-time, on-site role as a Special Education Teacher serving a school located in Lake Wylie, South Carolina.

Provide specialized resource instruction and inclusion support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Partner with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, modify instructional strategies, and implement appropriate accommodations and supports. Conduct progress monitoring, collect student data, and adjust instructional interventions to meet individual learning needs. Manage special education case responsibilities, including maintaining compliance documentation, participating in eligibility evaluations, and attending IEP meetings. Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Support students in developing academic, organizational, and self-advocacy skills that promote success in both resource and general education settings.
