About the role

The assistant coach supports the head coach in operating a wrestling program for student-athletes. They are responsible for training athletes in sport-specific skills while fostering athletic excellence and Christian character.

Description

The assistant coach supports the head coach for their assigned sport(s). In that support role, the assistant coach is responsible for helping to operate a program for student-athletes, who have differing abilities and skills, that pursues our complementary goals in Athletics of striving for athletic excellence and developing Christian character.

Requirements

Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree and have a minimum of one year of coaching experience. Strong communication skills and an understanding of student development are required.
