About the role

The individual will teach assistive technology content to occupational therapy students and integrate this material into the OTD curriculum. They are also responsible for setting up all necessary assistive technology for courses and labs while coordinating with IT for software requirements.

Job Description

Position Summary

This person will teach all assistive technology content to the occupational therapy students. The hired individual will complete all preparatory set up and teaching. This person will work to embed the assistive technology content into the curriculum. Assistive technology content is included in our accreditation standards and is necessary to be taught throughout the OTD program. Department of Occupational Therapy Essential Job Duties Teach assistive technology content to all OTD students. Set up all AT as needed for each course/lab Work with IT to use necessary software.

Requirements

Candidates must be an occupational therapist with at least 5 years of clinical experience in assistive technology. A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
