The instructor is responsible for delivering program plans and schedules provided by agency. Adjust lesson plans to meet the needs of the participants, as well as track progress of development both academically and socially. Essential Functions:
Lead small group activities that are age appropriate in an atmosphere where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences enhancing the social, physical, and academic advancement of children.
Implement the lesson plans and activities.
Assist students with homework assignments as needed.
Responsible for the health, safety, and wellbeing of the children at all times.
Report to the Program Manager any behavioral concerns and/or incidents involving the children in the program.
Build relationships with parents, children, and the school administration/teachers.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: None
· Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures. · Safe and successful performance, including meeting productivity standards. · Maintain an understanding of the principles, methods and processes needed to perform the job. Attend staff meetings, seminars and in-service training as assigned. · Demonstrates the ability to complete work in an acceptable manner by the time and/or date established with accuracy, neatness and thoroughness and minimal amount of errors.
