Illinois athletic trainers face steady demand

Illinois athletic trainer roles are typically tied to schools, clinics, and sports medicine settings that need coverage for injury prevention, evaluation, and return-to-play support. Competition can be strong because employers often look for CAATE-accredited preparation, BOC certification, state licensure, CPR and First Aid, plus a valid driver’s license.
