About the role

The assistant will review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for compliance and provide feedback to field staff. They will also manage data entry into information systems and maintain accurate records of student services and goals.

Starting Pay Range $19.00 - $21.50 - Hourly Depending on experience

Job Description

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Review IEPs as they are submitted from the field staff. A rubric will be used to review the IEPs and provide direct feedback to the SES teachers and other service providers. Review of measurable goals and objectives. Collaborate with Compliance Coordinator in providing feedback to field staff and updating compliance report as needed. Duties may include filing, emailing field staff, and effectively communicating changes that need to be made to the IEPs. Inputting information into the IEP information systems to accurately reflect current services and goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: Basic knowledge of Individualized Education Plans and legal requirements of documents. Strong organization skills. Attention to detail. Computer skills – knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

Preferred: Interpersonal Skills Knowledge of curriculum and instruction programs proven to be beneficial to pupils with special learning needs. Excellent written and oral skills. Ability to communicate well with students, parents and teachers. Requirements

Candidates should have basic knowledge of IEPs and legal documentation requirements along with strong organizational and computer skills. An Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred for this position.
