The teacher will plan and conduct individualized lessons for students while monitoring progress toward IEP goals. They will also provide support for listening technology and collaborate with families and staff to facilitate student development.
Starting Pay Range $35.00 - $47.50 - Hourly Depending on experience
Required: Knowledge of the deaf culture. Ability to teach students of grades K-12. Ability to work with children of all ages. Ability to understand, adopt, and support the independent study program, concepts and their philosophies. Ability to organize and present ideas effectively in oral and written form. Ability to make skillful decisions. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to operate a PC computer, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, copier, FAX, and other office machines. Education and Experience: BA/BS Degree required. Valid California Credential or equivalent to provide instruction to deaf and hard of hearing students. Experience working with students with hearing disabilities.
