The tutor will provide math instruction to small and large groups of 2nd-4th grade students. They will also collaborate with the education team to implement learning strategies and maintain consistent communication with staff.

Job responsibilities

  • Subjects to be taught: Math
  • Grades: 2nd-4th
  • Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
  • Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
  • Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
  • Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
  • Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

  • MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
  • In-person availability is required
  • Scheduled hours: Tuesdays through Thursdays from/between 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM EST
  • Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
