Coaching and Athlete Development Operate a coaching launch during on-the-water practices. Observe student-athletes and crews from the launch and provide timely, constructive technical feedback. Identify and communicate technical corrections related to rowing mechanics, boat movement, rhythm, timing, and crew synchronization. Promote a positive, demanding, and supportive training environment consistent with the values of the University and rowing program. Support student-athlete safety during practices and other rowing activities. Program and Administrative Support Assist with preparation for daily practices and training sessions. Support equipment preparation, organization, and logistics. Assist with rowing equipment and coaching launch operations as assigned. Organize and maintain practice video and other performance materials. Assist with data entry, training records, and other program documentation. Assist the full-time coaching staff with other program-related duties as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong technical knowledge of rowing and collegiate rowing training practices. Ability to effectively observe, analyze, and communicate rowing technique. Ability to work collaboratively with a full-time coaching staff. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work a variable schedule, including early mornings and weekends. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
