Position Summary

Northside Charter High School seeks an energetic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will promote physical fitness, health education, and teamwork while creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students to develop lifelong healthy habits. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative educational environment that values physical wellness as a vital part of student development.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Valid teaching certification for physical education (or ability to obtain certification before the start date).

Knowledge of fitness, health, and wellness education practices.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Experience coaching school sports teams or organizing extracurricular fitness programs.

Familiarity with integrating technology (e.g., fitness trackers, apps) into physical education.
