The Learning Experience – Canton is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom.
This is an exciting stage when children are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and early friendships. You'll create a nurturing and structured environment that gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and develop new skills.
What You'll Do: Lead daily activities and routines for our 2-Year-Old classroom
Create developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences
Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills
Guide meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions
Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom
Build strong relationships with children and families
Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required
Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus
CDA or ECE coursework preferred
Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing
Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
