  • Position
  • Overview: Yu Ying is looking for passionate and experienced Chinese Lead Teachers (CLTs) to inspire and guide our students through an immersive language learning journey. Lead Teachers at Washington Yu Ying are part of a collaborative and supportive faculty with a common goal of continuously improving a great school. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and enriching an inquiry-based classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and academic excellence. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are passionate about young children and want continuous-on-the-job development for growth.

  • Responsibilities: Implement elementary curriculum (Reading, Lang Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science) Ability to plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies Work in a trusted and positive manner within a team environment Establish a positive classroom culture Emphasize and support oral language development across all content areas Communicate and work effectively with families Work positively and collaboratively as a member of a grade team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in education preferred. Native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required Minimum of one year of experience as a lead classroom Teacher

Requirements

Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree and possess native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese. A minimum of one year of experience as a lead classroom teacher is required for this position.
