About the Role
- Hello, Sign Language Interpreters! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Sign Language Interpreters for a school-based position in Summerville, SC for the 2026-2027 School Year. You’ll support students by providing interpreting services in American Sign Language (ASL) throughout the school day. This role is ideal for either experienced school ASL interpreters or those new to the school setting. - + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide direct one-on-one interpretation in ASL for a student throughout the school day Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and staff Support access to curriculum and social interactions in the classroom Collaborate with the student’s educational team What We Are Looking For: Proof of EIPA score of 3.5 or higher EIPA Written Test required, or willingness to schedule and complete the test within the upcoming year About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
