Speech-Language Pathologist | PreK–4th Grade
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a PreK–4th grade elementary school in Reading, Pennsylvania for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse elementary caseload, including speech-only students as well as students with more complex communication needs. You'll support students across general education and specialized settings, including Autistic Support classrooms. We have a variety of school-based opportunities, making it easier to align clinicians with positions that match their interests, experience, and preferred student population. Caseload Details: Full-time position with a 35-hour work week.
Provide direct speech-language therapy based on students' IEP goals and individual communication needs. Provide services across individual, small-group, classroom, and specialized educational settings as appropriate. Conduct speech-language evaluations, screenings, and reevaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention based on student needs and data. Case-manage speech-only students, including monitoring goals and progress. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of meaningful speech-language goals. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers. Support communication across classroom and educational environments. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Pennsylvania special education requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with SLP Leads and Special Education administration. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders. Pennsylvania State SLP License. Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate. Experience working with students with Autism is required. Experience with AAC is beneficial but not required. School-based experience preferred but not required. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with students with a range of communication needs. Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.
